Programme

The meeting will take place over a three day period covering welcome address; Hugh Sinclair Lecture; 3 parallel sessions including - 10 plenary speakers; 1 invited keynote speaker; 45 invited symposium speakers; 34 abstract presenters; 6 Young Investigator presenters; and moderated poster sessions.

It is expected that the meeting, run jointly with the European Vascular Biology Organisation (EVBO) and British Atherosclerosis Society (BAS), will attract upwards of 400 participants including:

  • Physicians and scientists
  • Oncologists and cancer biologists
  • Cardiologists and cardiovascular researchers
  • Diabetologists and diabetes researchers
  • Haematologists and thrombosis researchers
  • Other areas e.g. ophthalmology, nephrology
  • Cell and gene therapists

The meeting will be held at the University of Bristol.

All presentations will be held in the splendid Wills Memorial Building. Refreshments, buffet lunches, exhibition and poster displays will be located in the Merchant Venturers Building, less than a minutes walk from the meeting rooms so that no valuable networking time will be lost.
