Detail: Being held within the Merchant Venturers Building, situated in the heart of the University Precinct, the evening will offer an opportunity to meet up with friends and colleagues, as well as taking an initial view of the exhibition stands present over the meeting period.
The evening will take the form of a drinks and canapé reception following on from the welcome address held in the Wills Memorial Building.

By foot: 2 minutes from the city centre. 5 minutes from the Merchant Venturers Building

By train: to Temple Meads Station, then buses 8 & 9 to the city centre or a 20 minute walk.

Detail: On arrival, guests will be free to roam the ground floor Explore@Bristol galleries and the inspiring interactive science centre for the 21st century. Explore@Bristol offers an intriguing and absorbing environment in which to discover some of the challenges and excitement of science. Using the very latest hands-on multimedia techniques you can test your memory and investigate the forces of nature.
Dinner will be served in the Rosalind Franklin Room on an upper floor, complete with large decked terraces looking out over Millennium Square. After dinner entertainment will be provided.
